Insurance/Billing

Wellness 360

Q.

What insurance does Wellness 360 accept?

A.

We accept most insurances and are in-network with Excellus, United Healthcare, MVP and Medicare. As a courtesy, we will do an initial verification of your insurance benefits prior to your initial appointment. The initial verification is not a guarantee of benefits and / or guarantee of payment. All claims must be received and reviewed by your insurance company before a final payment determination is reached.  Any treatments not covered are your responsibility. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and up to date insurance information including any policy changes, secondary, or supplemental insurance.

Q.

How do I know how much a PT session cost?

A.

As a courtesy to you, we will do an initial verification of your insurance benefits including any applicable copays, deductibles, and/or coinsurance. This information will be provided to you prior to your initial appointment, however, it is your responsibility to update us if your insurance policy changes and monitor your insurance limits.

Q.

Is your Massage therapy covered by insurance?

A.

We do not currently accept insurance for massage therapy services.

Q.

What if I can not afford the cost of my copay or Wellness 360 services?

A.

Wellness 360 is obligated to collect all coinsurance and copayments as part of our agreements with the insurance companies.  We are more than happy to work out a payment plan to spread out the cost or educate you on some more affordable, out-of-pocket options.

Q.

Do I need a doctor's script to come to physical therapy?

A.

No! New York State has a Direct Access Law that allows you to come for physical therapy WITHOUT a prescription or referral for up to 10 visits or 30 days; whichever comes first.

Q.

Can I go to TWO different facilities at the same time for Physical therapy?

A.

Yes! You are allowed to receive therapy services from two different providers from the same discipline as long as both providers are providing services that require the skills of a therapist. Treatment must be done on different days.
