Can I receive Mobile PT if I have additional home health services in place?

A.

We are considered outpatient physical therapy and therefore we are NOT able to see you if you are currently under the care of a home health agency.  If you have additional outpatient services in place, such as speech or OT, we are able to see you.

Q.

Does my insurance cover a Mobile PT visit?

A.

Yes!  Mobile PT is covered under your outpatient physical therapy benefits.

Q.

If I come to PT in the clinic, can I also have a session at home once or twice? 

A.

Yes!  We often recommend a home visit to work on functional tasks specific to your environment.

Q.

Why would someone choose Mobile PT?

A.

Mobile PT is ideal for people who have difficulty finding transportation to their appointments.  It can also be very helpful for people with a goal of maintaining their independence in the home.  When we come to you, we can work in your specific environment.

How far do you travel for Mobile visits?

A.

We will see you anywhere in Monroe County and the town of Ontario.

Q.

Do I need equipment at my house for a PT visit?

A.

Nope, we bring everything to you!  Just make sure to clear an area for us to work in.

Q.

Do I need equipment at my house for a PT visit?

A.

We can work at the kitchen counter, in the middle of the living room or even use your stairs for conditioning exercise!  Our therapists are very creative and will work with the space you have,
