Meditation is one of the best ways to take care of your physical and mental health. Studies show that meditation alone can decrease stress, improve your immune system, decrease stress and anxiety, and improve your overall health. Meditation can be easy to do and can take as little as 5 minutes a day. The key to meditation is consistency. It takes up to 8 weeks to start to see the benefits of daily meditation. Tips on Meditating
Clear your room of distractions
Sit in a comfortable position. Lying down is also appropriate
It is impossible to clear your mind. Use your breath as a focal point. Every time your mind wanders, return your focus to your breath.
Start slow, 2-3 minutes, and work your way up.
